BIOLAC horses

     

 

BIOLAC foals milk has been specifically produced for foals and is based on credible scientific research works into the composition of mare's milk.

Mare's milk is quite dilute and foals require a large amount of fluid over a 24 hour period, often every 3 hours, day and night.

Foals require up to 20 litres of fluid per day depending on the breed and age of the foal.

When required to hand feed an orphan foal it is important to be aware that mares milk is very different from ordinary cows milk which contains about 3.7% of fat whereas mares milk only contains 1.3% fat.
